Overview:
Craig P. Stone is a seasoned real estate executive with an established portfolio of multibillion-dollar real estate transactions worldwide.  Over a two-decade span, Craig has completed hundreds of residential and commercial real estate deals. He has been involved with selling and leasing  condos, co-ops, townhouses and luxury units. Commercially, he has provided brokerage and consulting on leases and sales including hotels, and due-diligence services regarding high-end residential & commercial conversions, land-development & build-out projects; and has arranged equity and debt financing.  Craig has been fortunate to work with some of the legends of New York real estate, starting his brokerage career with the Helmsley Organization and with Brown Harris Stevens.   On his own, Craig built a successful international real estate firm, providing investment banking and brokerage services from his offices in New York, Rome and Milan.  His achievements included the development of a 22-story residential building and arranging the acquisition & resale of a Midtown Manhattan property which became a mixed-use hotel; and was also involved in buying land, getting all necessary permits and selling them to developers and investors.  Throughout his career, Craig has focused on putting together the right people, platforms and projects. Away from the office, he leveraged his marketing and deal-making skills to become the Co-Producer of the award-winning documentary, “At the Edge of the World” –www.attheedgeoftheworld.com.
Insight:
I started my career on Wall Street with Drexel Burnham Lambert focusing on the fixed income side under Michael Milken. Subsequently I fell in love with real estate and have done just about anything you can do in the business over two decades. I’d the pleasure of spending some years in Hollywood producing film and television shows but my heart always lied within the real estate platform. I became an executive with highly accomplished record of career achievement managing and developing a portfolio of over $1 billion-dollar mixed use real estate holdings. Experience in operational, strategic-planning, management, transactions, marketing and sales in all aspects of commercial real estate, investment, development and other business platforms. Broad range of corporate real estate experience encompassing owner, investor and tenant relations, asset management, land and developed property, acquisitions/dispositions exceeding 500 properties, project development/build-out, turn-key new project due diligence, equity and debt financing, risk assessment and management, and profit & loss development responsibility. A decisive hands-on leader skilled in guiding management teams as well as staff, a team player with a history of success in developing businesses and in leveraging companies strengths from both a creative and business standpoint within diverse corporate and entrepreneurial environments to surpass business objectives and maximize profitability.
